EMP Inspection of Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Systems
It is not the intent and the Contract does not require that the property be brought up to the current building Code. However, the Contract does provide that the Buyer, at the Buyer’s expense, shall have the right to have all the fixtures, equipment, and systems relating to: plumbing (including sewer / septic system and water supply), heating and cooling, electrical systems, built-in appliances, swimming pool / spa, sprinkler systems, and security systems inspected by a qualified inspector.
If the Property is not connected to a public sewer system (property that is on a septic tank or lagoon system), Buyer should have the system inspected by a qualified expert.
