When you are driving around midtown Tulsa, you will notice that many of the single-family houses for sale remind you of the old Leave it to Beaver TV show, giving the impression that midtown Tulsa looks like the classic neighborhood of Beaver Cleaver or Donna Reed.These classic homes of the 1940’s are often torn down and being replaced by in-fill, especially the increasingly popular single-family homes in the modern farmhouse style.
Many single-family homes in midtown Tulsa have full basements or partial basements as well as multiple stories above the basement level.
Many of the older single-family houses for sale in midtown Tulsa will have garage apartments or quarters which can be used as art studios, home offices, or places for independent relatives or servants to reside.

Most single-family houses in midtown Tulsa are super convenient to public transportation, expressways, shopping, and recreation. Most notable, midtown Tulsans have access to the Gathering Place,which is kind of like Disney World without the lines…. and it’s free!
Neighborhoods and subdivisions in midtown Tulsa tend to be smaller and more eclectic than in other parts of Tulsa. The larger luxury single-family homes for sale in midtown Tulsa tend to be on lots that are larger and unplatted, i.e., meaning they are not part of a specific neighborhood or subdivision. Some of the luxury estates in midtown Tulsa are large enough to show up on my search for country estates on 2 to 5 acres within commuting distance of Tulsa.
